Writers block does not usually happen to me….especially when I am trying to describe the waterfront paradise I call home.  Paradise… are you kidding?  In Indiana?  Sure we have the same problems everyone else does. It’s just when you look out the window at this gorgeous Indiana Lake those problems begin to fade into the bald eagles perched in the tree across the cove!  Or the loons that disappear only to reappear yards away…or the sea gulls that migrate through this time each year.  At the end of a very long day when my back aches and I wander through the great room and suddenly view the most gorgeous glistening golden sunset over the water those problems disappear, if only for moments.  Wow, you should see it when I wake up early and it’s dark.  I look out the window through tired eyes at the full moon setting and the white glow on the water-sometimes the moon is red!  I tell you, there is no better way to wake up!!!  Okay, I really am not telling you this to make you envious, I’m telling you this because this can be your life!  This is Heritage Lake Indiana and it is located just an hour west of Indianapolis, Indiana.  I’ve said for 21 years I don’t understand why anyone would live anywhere else if they could live at Heritage Lake!  And for those of you fortunate to be looking for a summer lake home…WOW…you need to get out here!  You’ll use it all the time with family and friends, if you live in Indiana, the location is convenient and a simple trip to paradise!
