I haven’t blogged in awhile because I’ve been busy!  Since January first we have pended/sold nine homes. If you want to buy a home at Heritage Lake and you are hoping to get the up to $8000.00 federal tax credit you need to find your new home soon.  A person who has not owned a home for 3 years is considered a first time home buyer and may be eligilble to receive a tax credit for 10% of the price of the home up to $8000.00.  You must close on the home by December 1, 2009.  If you find that home in the next few weeks you could probably close by that date.  Single taxpayers with incomes up to $75,000 and married couples with incomes up to $150,000 qualify for the full tax credit.  The credit does not have to be re-paid if you live in it for 3 years or more.
